Feb. 17th - Last Day in Phuket, in Thailand

We slept in from our fun filled night out and woke up for our last breakfast in Thailand.  We enjoyed the ocean view and the warm sun coming down, but then it was time to have some pool time.

Tony a little tired, but got up to have breakfast
I took a picture half way done eating

I went and laid by the pool, reading my book.  Tony was still pretty tired so he went back to the room and took a little nap until it was time for eat again haha.

He came back down and we decided to just stay at our hotel and order something by the pool.  We felt like having some kind of sandwich or hearty meal.

Enjoying my water!

Therefore, I ordered the french dip sandwich, which wasn't exactly like the french dips we think of but still pretty good flavor.

Tony decided to try the bacon cheese burger.  His came out and it look amazing, I was actually a little jealous of his meal.  Well, right when he took his first bit into the burger, his face explained it all, pure disappointment.  It didn't even look like it was real meat and he literally couldn't eat much more of it.  I let him have more of my sandwich and my onion rings.

Not a happy Tony

After lunch we laid by the pool some more and just relaxed!  Then we went back to our hotel room to pack up our bags.  It was so sad packing up and knowing we had to head home, meaning our vacation was coming to an end.  We enjoyed our last time out on a balcony and then decided we wanted to find a good meal for our last dinner.

We took a Tuk Tuk ride into town and had him stop when we saw places to eat.  As we were walking around looking for food, we decided to by the dice and number (Jackpot) game to bring home for us.  We got it for 300 baht and were happy with our purchase.  Then we found a restaurant, Sweet Lobster, that had a bunch of lobsters out on display.  I really wanted to get some good sea food, so we decided to eat here for dinner.

Our Restaurant (we sat at the table in the corner on the right)

Both Tony & I decided we wanted to actually get the lobster for our dinner.  These HUGE lobsters were about $30 each, not too bad considering what we'd pay in the states.  The woman went and picked out our lobsters and then let us hold them.  Well, I held them because Tony didn't want to touch them, he thought they were too gross to touch hahaha

She's weighing our Lobsters!
They were kind of heavy!  Large Lobsters
Here they are, pretty colorful
Our dinner on a silver platter!

We had them grill them up with butter and garlic.  Tony got the HUGE one and mine was a little smaller, but we shared.

They came served with this soy sauce with some kind of extra kick in it.  We weren't sure exactly, but we both LOVED dipping our lobster into it.  We both ate it all up and then were tired from eating so much, we got in a Tuk Tuk and headed back to the hotel.

Time to EAT
Here's my plate

We had to get up at 4am to catch out 8:15 am flight back to Bangkok, to then head to Hong Kong for the night. It took an hour to get to the airport from our hotel, that's why we had to get up so early.

Good night Thailand, you have treated us so kindly and have enjoyed every moment we had here!!!  This has been an incredible vacation, an incredible life experience.
